In the midst of the corrupt and dying culture in which we find ourselves, God is working to preserve a remnant, set apart for righteousness, like a city on a hill. As the State attempts to usurp the place of God, and tries to compel all to bow down and worship the molten image of a man-centered global empire, we must have the fortitude to stand in defiance, whatever the cost. Our physical migration, and our desire to establish a refuge for Christian civilization on the earth for generations to come, remain important long-term goals; but they must be preceded by a spiritual exodus from the mentality of Statism, and our economic dependence upon an idolatrous system stained with bloodguilt. We must meticulously disentangle ourselves from the numerous flesh-hooks of servitude to a godless establishment, and we must do it as soon as we can. From the cradle to the grave, this world system extends its diabolical tentacles over every area of our lives, dragging us into dependency upon the capricious designs of central-government bureaucrats, detaching us from the bonds of family, church, and community which God has provided for us. We need to rebuild a Christian society from the very foundations, and it begins with us now, at the most fundamental levels of our existence. Let us build a true culture of life, welcoming children into the world as the blessings that they are, rather than accepting them only inasmuch as might be convenient for our lifestyles or careers. Let us receive the neglected and orphan children as our own, and not give them up as wards of the State. Let our children live and work with us in a family-centered economy, and not give them up to be supervised by strangers. Let us bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and not allow them to be corrupted by government indoctrination centers. Let us provide for our children the good company of other Christian families, and not the isolating mesmerism of consumerist entertainment. Let us live as free men now, without waiting for government permission to do so. Let us learn how to simply live. Let us begin to grow some of our own food, and provide for some of our own needs, rather than depending solely upon the supermarket and our supply of Federal Reserve Notes. Let us conduct our own commerce with our own mediums of exchange. Let us work in our own businesses, rather than being helplessly dependent upon government and large corporations. Let us take care of our own problems, and provide for those among us with special needs. Let us seek the health of body and soul though the best that God has provided, rather than through what is best for the profits of drug companies. Let us find the means to provide for our own health-care though cost-sharing, rather than putting our lives in the hands of government and large corporations. Let us refuse the handouts of the welfare state with dignity, and try to live without taxpayer-subsidized loans, grants, unemployment compensation, or Social Security payments. Even before we relocate, we have so much to do to move towards independent Christian living, and to prepare ourselves for self-government based upon Biblical principles. We all have a long way to go. Let the Christian Exodus begin now!
